I would recommend people who are starting here to keep a notebook to write things down from training. There’s a lot of information.

Less fast pace, more time to speak with and learn from doctors.
Advice
It's a long, hard job. So, just be prepared for long days, get lots of sleep the day before, bring easy to eat snacks so you can get at least something to eat if you can't break away for lunch.

More time with my patients. I only get them for 15-20 mins.
Advice
Make the most of it. It can get hard dealing with people who don’t feel well. Comfort them, calm them, and most of all be patient with them and they will think you are the best.
