Qorvo’s Software Engineering Internships are offered in our Global Operations business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

 

Responsibilities may include:

  • Understand PHP applications and logic and translate them to Appian by integrating with SAP BAPI, building process model, data types, data stores, write expressions, records and build sites.
  • Gain Knowledge of advanced PHP technologies such as Laravel, Symfony, or Zend Framework.
  • Design and implement back-end solutions, including integration with databases, external services and other system components.
  • Work with databases such as MySQL, SQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Work on front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks such as Vue.js or React.
  • Support configuration and low-code/no-code development using Appian BPM and related technologies to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Work with Appian process models, expressions, record types, data stores, sites.
  • Develop applications in Appian business process management and integrate with other COTS products.
  • Ensure high quality code, adhering to best programming practices and ensuring security compliance.
  • Translate business needs into solution architecture requirements.
  • Troubleshoot, analyze code and optimize performance.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science 
  • Some experience with Appian
  • Some experience in HTML, HTML5, CSS, JSON, XML, Java Script, Ajax
  • Some experience with relational database
  • Self-Starter with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in version control systems and code repositories such as Git preferred.
  • Collaborative and team focused to solve problems for business users.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience: $31/hr-$42/hr (subject to change dependent on physical location). Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability. Base compensation is one element of Total Rewards offered at Qorvo. More information on the Total Rewards package can be shared upon request.
