Student Teaching Assistant
Job description – Student Teaching Assistant for BUS225
Start Date: January 12, 2026
Nature of Work:
Assist with teaching BUS225 “Transforming Business for Sustainable Impact”. The graduate teaching assistant will work with the instructor of BUS225 and will assist with preparation of class materials, grading of student work, communication with students, and facilitating classes.
Some examples of work:
Facilitate in-class and/or online discussions
Assist with grading and provide constructive feedback on assignments
Respond to student questions and help clarify assignment expectations
Offer weekly office hours to meet with and support students
Meet with students and regularly meet with the course instructor
Support students in understanding course concepts and materials
Provide guidance on study strategies and study skills
Assist with additional instructional tasks as needed
Required:
- Background in theoretical or applied ethics
- Experience with leading classroom discussions or instructional activities
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills
- Professionalism, dependability, and a student-centered approach
- Ability to work approximately 10 –14 hours per week during the semester, including finals week
- Flexibility and willingness to support grading activities
