Hours: 1 Friday OR Saturday night (7:30pm-3:00am) three times a month as well as 8-set office hours per week (M-F during normal business hours between 9am-5pm). These office hours should include time held on Wednesdays from 4:00pm-5:00pm, Fridays from ~3:45-5:00pm, and most Sundays from 12:00-2:00pm
Must be available for fall and spring trainings, held the week before classes each academic semester

Nightly Operations Position Description:
RamRide falls within the office of Off-Campus Life. The RamRide Nightly Operations Coordinator (NOC) is responsible for co-leading one nightly operation each week (Friday or Saturday) in accordance with all RamRide policies and procedures, three weekends a month. NOCs will also be responsible for holding a minimum of six (6) office hours per week where they will complete assigned office tasks and be cross-trained in Off-Campus Life Program Assistant administrative duties to provide further customer service. NOCs will assist during the week with Food Ops and weekly operations. During nightly operations, two coordinators on duty will co-lead volunteer training, assist in checking in all student volunteers, vehicle assignments, and other nightly operation duties. All coordinators will meet with the Graduate Assistant bi-weekly to receive feedback on performance during nightly operations and project progress.
Position-Specific Job Duties
- Work nightly operations one night per week (Friday or Saturday), three weekends per month and a minimum of six (6) office hours per week.
- Report to the scenes of any accidents or incidents and ensure all accident/incident reports submitted are accurately completed and detailed.
- Train volunteers on RamRide’s policies and procedures during RamRide nightly operations using provided training presentation, to be evaluated 1-2 times per semester.
- Track RamRide volunteers’ vehicle locations to ensure all volunteers are upholding RamRide procedures.
- Distribute and collect keys, bags, phones and information to/from volunteers.
- Assist in transporting cars to and from Motorpool every Friday that RamRide operates from ~3:45pm-5:00pm
- Know the correct process followed for the submission of the Nightly Operations Summary, and any accident or incident reports.
- Assist students who visit the Off-Campus Life or RamRide office to ask questions about serving as a RamRide volunteer, sign contracts, submit documentation, etc.
- Actively contribute during RamRide staff meetings by brainstorming improvements and giving feedback about the Night Ops experience.
- Supporting an overall positive team dynamic.
Off-Campus Life – All Student Staff Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and accurate information to students regarding office services and programs, renting in the Fort Collins community, city codes and ordinances, building neighborhood relations, and more. This customer service is expected to be provided in-person, over the telephone, and via email or virtual communication.
- Being accountable to information and expectations set forth in the student staff employee manual
- General front desk/reception duties, including but not limited to answering phones, keeping stats, greeting/assisting customers, office upkeep/cleaning etc.
- Working knowledge and application of Party Registration program, RentalSearch, etc.
- Actively participate (facilitate, administer, and contribute according to program lead instructions) in various office programs (Roommate Meet & Matches, RamRide Food Ops, etc.) and presentations (Orientations, resource fairs, etc.)
- All OCL staff are expected to work some evening, early morning and weekend commitments (including but not limited to Orientation/Ram Welcome – June through August; Fall Clean-up – November; Housing Fair – February; CSUnity – April)
- Actively contribute during Off-Campus Life staff meetings by brainstorming improvements and giving feedback about office operations.
- Support an overall positive team dynamic.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Be able to attend spring staff training, occurring the week prior to the start of the academic term.
- Be able to attend bi-weekly staff meetings, slated for every other Wednesday from 4:00 – 5:00PM during the 2025 – 2026 academic year (with exception given for academic commitments)
- Be accepted for enrollment as a regular degree-seeking student at Colorado State University, carrying at least one credit per term during the academic year.
- Have a Driver’s License and be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Records check and a background check.
- Be in good academic and disciplinary standing according to Colorado State University standards.
- Must be able to commit to the position for at least one academic year.

- Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in a busy work environment that requires you to multi-task.
- Possess a commitment to working with diverse populations, identities and experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Event planning experience.
- Understanding of basic use of Microsoft 365 suite of programs (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Knowledge of Off-Campus Life programs and events.
- Experience presenting in front of groups of varying sizes.
- A cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.
Terms of Offer:
Offers are subject to a one semester (16 week) probationary period. During this time, supervisors and supervisees will engage in an on-going feedback process about strengths and opportunities for growth. Failure to demonstrate growth or commitment to job expectations during this time period may result in in termination of employment from Off-Campus Life.
Offers are granted for the remainder of Spring/Summer 2025 and the Fall 2025 - Spring 2026 academic calendar, with optional work during Summer 2026. Employment is contingent upon meeting basic job duties and requirements, including displaying initiative, a willingness to work with others, and growth. In May of each academic year, employees will have the opportunity to request continued employment for the next academic year. These requests will be reviewed based upon the semesterly job evaluations and successful completion of these responsibilities.
