Drone Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Drone Engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy unmanned aerial systems (UAS). You will work across hardware, software, and flight systems to build reliable, high-performance drones for real-world applications. This role is hands-on and collaborative, involving rapid prototyping, field testing, and continuous improvement of UAV platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, working towards, in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Experience working with UAVs, drones, or autonomous systems
- Familiarity of one or more programming languagesÂ
- Experience with flight controllersÂ
- Understanding of control systems, aerodynamics, and embedded systems
- Hands-on experience with system integration
- Experience with autonomous navigation, computer vision, or SLAM
- Knowledge of FAA Part 107 regulations
- Experience with simulation tools and flight testing
- Familiarity with CAD, PCB design, or rapid prototyping
- Prior work on commercial, defense, or research UAV programs
