What You’ll Do
The Software Engineering Intern supports the design, development, and testing of software applications and embedded systems used in Grace Technologies products. This role works with a cross-functional engineering team and provides hands-on experience building real software in a technology-driven product environment. This internship is designed for students who want practical experience in software development, embedded systems, and industrial technology.
- Develop software modules for new and existing products
- Help build and test web-based application interfaces
- Assist with embedded software development that interfaces with hardware
- Participate in bench testing, functional testing, and integration testing
- Work with engineering teams to verify software, firmware, and hardware integration
- Support industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, IO-Link, and similar
What You’ll Bring
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering
- Basic experience with one or more languages such as C, C++, C#, Python, or Java
- Interest in software development, embedded systems, or industrial technology
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git or similar)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
