What You’ll Do

The Software Engineering Intern supports the design, development, and testing of software applications and embedded systems used in Grace Technologies products. This role works with a cross-functional engineering team and provides hands-on experience building real software in a technology-driven product environment.  This internship is designed for students who want practical experience in software development, embedded systems, and industrial technology.

  • Develop software modules for new and existing products
  • Help build and test web-based application interfaces
  • Assist with embedded software development that interfaces with hardware
  • Participate in bench testing, functional testing, and integration testing
  • Work with engineering teams to verify software, firmware, and hardware integration
  • Support industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, IO-Link, and similar

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering
  • Basic experience with one or more languages such as C, C++, C#, Python, or Java
  • Interest in software development, embedded systems, or industrial technology
  • Familiarity with version control tools (Git or similar)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
