Position Summary

The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department is a seeking a student for the role of undergraduate student research assistant. This position supports design, development, and deployment of environmental engineering interventions including advanced textiles and tools for field-based measurements, indoor and personal environmental quality (IEQ) mitigation strategies, and human-AI collaboration in field-based setting.

Essential Duties

  • Preparing tools for lab/field use.
  • Assisting with sensor development, deployment, and retrieval.
  • Labeling andorganizing samples.
  • Preparing datasets for analysis (entry, cleaning, QA/QC).
  • Creating basic figures/tables.
  • Helping with literature review.
  • General project logistics.
