Position Summary

The School of Biomedical and Chemical Engineering is seeking a Student Hourly researcher for the following position: 

This research assistant will assist in a research project on algal cultivation for algal biomass production. A continuous harvesting control system will be tested for algal cultivation to improve algal biomass productivity. The work involves algae culture including algal growth and biomass composition analysis.

Required Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor major in Chemical and Biological Engineering or bioengineering related
  • Basic laboratory experience

 

Preferred Job Qualifications

  • Work experience in microbiology and algae cultivation
  • Experience using Arduino
