R2026104392 Graduate Student Assistant
Position Summary
This position will involve assisting in a variety of administrative and research tasks to support the International Society of Environmental Ethics and other efforts associated with Katie McShane and other philosophy faculty. Much (though not all) of the work can be done remotely.
Work will be no more than 20 hours per week, with substantially lighter commitments during the academic year. The position will require a commitment from July 1st, 2026 to June 30th, 2027, with the possibility of extending through May 15th, 2028.

Current student in Philosophy MA program
Preferred Job Qualifications
- Some experience with website design and construction (Squarespace) would be ideal. If not, at least some general technological aptitude will be important.
- Ability to work independently, communicate clearly with a variety of people, and plan complex tasks will be important.
- Familiarity with environmental ethics would be great but is not required.
Essential Duties
- This job will involve assisting with a variety of tasks, including:
- Helping ISEE move our member information to a new membership management system (Membership Works),
- Working with web design team to set up a new website,
- Making arrangements for the summer conference, and other miscellaneous things.
