Position Summary

MIP Prep Room is seeking reliable, detail-obsessed, student microbiologists to prepare media and supplies for Microbiology and Biology laboratory classes. This essential role ensures that over two thousand CSU students have successful and enjoyable laboratory learning experiences while gaining valuable hands-on job skills.

Essential Duties

• Fill media and supply orders for laboratory classes
• Prepare media following established protocols while carefully recording chemicals and procedures used
• Maintain classrooms by gathering all used materials.  Disinfect and clean said materials
• Coordinate with team workers so all tasks are completed in a timely manner
• Follow all laboratory safety procedures-PPE and training provided
