Position Summary
This position is located at the CSU Foothills Campus, Department of Biomedical Sciences, at the Animal Reproduction and Biotechnology Laboratory. This is a part time position with both laboratory and animal handling components. The hire will be helping in the management, monitoring, and safe handling of horses, including reproductive procedures. In addition, the hire will be responsible to help set up/clean up the laboratory and participate in ongoing research, including the collection and handling of samples and data entry. The applicant needs to be experienced with horse handling and care, with experience in handling animals for reproductive procedures desired. Laboratory experience, including the collection and storage of samples, is required; experience in handling equine gametes is desired. The applicant should be knowledgeable in the collection and entry of data, with knowledge of equine reproductive physiology and terminology. Some experience in research is desired. Hours are flexible and dependent on the ongoing research; therefore, the applicant needs to be available for weekend and flexible hours. Start date could be as early as 6/8/2026. Weekly hours will vary from 20-40 hours per week and the hourly wage will be $17.00.

Essential Duties
