Position Summary
The LGS Lab offers computer and printing services to students, as well as technology loans to faculty within our department. The main responsibilities of the lab monitor are to handle student and faculty inquiries as needed, and take stock of the inventory held within. Students must have a work-study award to be considered.

· Must be detail oriented, punctual, and communicate well
· Must provide excellent customer service to students and instructors
· Must be familiar with computers and basic technology

· Able to troubleshoot basic tech issues with PCs, printers, and projector
Essential Duties
Lab Monitors in the languages computer lab are responsible for the following:
· Monitor student use of computers
· Assist with the lab’s technology during class use
· Maintain all lab equipment
· Keep track of lab and equipment reservations
· Take lab inventory
· Communicate well with supervisors, faculty members, and co-workers
· Other small tasks, as assigned
