Position Summary

The Plant Growth Facilities is seeking a reliable, self-starter, energetic student employee to join our Greenhouse Maintenance Team. The Maintenance Team plays a vital role in creating and maintaining a clean, efficient and effective research greenhouse environment. This position supports the Plant Growth Facilities overall operation through sweeping, trash removal, pot washing pressure washing, and assisting foreman with maintenance tasks.

Preferred Job Qualifications

Experience with hand and/or power tools

Morning (8-12:00pm) availability

Essential Duties

Sweep and pressure wash greenhouse bays with instruction from supervisor

Assist in spring and fall pad wall maintenance

Collect and empty trash and compost bins

Wash and sanitize used pots and flats

Other duties as assigned
