We are looking for an excellent and courteous guest service agent. Responsibilities include: greeting guests as they arrive. Manage registration process of guest check-ins and check-outs appropriately and provide them with room keys. Explain appropriate use of keys and ensure that guests are satisfied with the rooms assigned to them. Contact housekeeping and maintenance departments when a problem is reported. Operate hotel switchboard, take calls and provide information and transfer calls. Take reservations over the phone, through emails and in person. Answer queries regarding the hotel's service, charges, amenities and travel directions. Provide guests with directions around hotel and area. Manage accurate accounting of all rooms and take payments. Balance cash at the end of the shift and generate accounting reports for the benefit of the next shift.
