This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Consortium for Medicaid and Childrens Health Operations (CMCHO) in the Financial Management Branch (FMB) in Denver, CO, Kansas City, MO, Philadelphia, PA and San Francisco, CA.

As an Accountant, you will provide technical assistance to State Medicaid agencies in assuring that expenditures of these agencies are made in compliance with Federal Medicaid and State's Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) regulations and statue. You will also provide consultation regarding financial management policy interpretation of the Medicaid and CHIP programs.

Salary Ranges:
Denver: $79,799 - $103,739
Kansas City: $73,840 - $95,991
Philadelphia: $79,239 - $103,011
San Francisco: $88,582 -$115,157
