Landscape Exhibit Associate

 

 

Phipps is seeking a full-time Exhibit Associate to assist the Associate Director of Exhibits in creating and implementing seasonal flower shows, annual displays and gallery exhibitions, including the design and implementation of interactive displays and lighting displays. Responsibilities will include creating installation schedules, sourcing materials, fabricating horticultural props and display needs, and organizing props and materials. The Exhibit Associate will also assist with responding to marketing and media requests.

 

A bachelor’s degree in landscape design, horticulture or a related field is required, along with art/design experience. Knowledge of a vast plant palette and the ability to research the needs of individual crops and suggest suitable plants to add to displays are required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to interact graciously with the general public are required. Evening and weekend work may be required.
