Customer Service Representative

POSITION: CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE 
START & END DATE: Nine-month temporary position beginning September 24, 2018
This position is 40 hours per week working M-F from 8:00 am-5:00 pm
PAY RATE: $12.50/hr
LOCATION: 317 W Prospect Rd., Fort Collins, CO 80526

JOB DESCRIPTION
Colorado Parks and Wildlife is accepting resumes for a temporary position at the front desk in the Fort Collins Service Center.
Ø Primary job responsibilities include providing detailed information to our constituents on a wide range of topics that include, but are not limited to:
Ø Information on fishing, provide hunting information for big game, small game, waterfowl and turkey by verbal and written communication. Sell hunting, fishing and big game licenses, register boats, OHV’s and snowmobiles and sell park stickers. Interpret Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) regulations, policies and State Statutes. Address nuisance wildlife concerns and provide information on coexisting with wildlife. Provide detailed information on State Parks, boating, hiking, etc. Make hunting reservations on the reservation system, fill Hunter Education orders, check harvested animals at the check station. Sort daily mail and other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Ø Experience with hunting, fishing, wildlife, camping and Colorado geography is a plus, but not required
Ø Experience in customer service
Ø Ability to work with the general public in person, by phone and email
Ø Familiar with Colorado Parks and Wildlife’s website
Ø Possess a strong knowledge of computer fundamentals including Microsoft Word and Excel
Ø Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ø Dependable
Ø Team player
Ø Ability to multi-task in a fast paced setting
Ø Pass a mandatory background check
