Marketing & Communications Rep 1 - Water

Primary Purpose:
Support position with responsibilities in one or two of the following related areas: marketing, communications, event coordination, branding, and proposal support. This position understands the strategy/vision of the assigned work group and works under close supervision. Work typically requires limited knowledge of business practices and procedures which are generally obtained on the job. This position utilizes standard instructions, written manuals as well as documents and receives routine guidance and direction from other team members or management regarding schedules, milestones, and priorities.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Typical duties may include but are not limited to the following (Professional responsibilities may cross functions as needed): Branding • Applies standard brand guidelines. • Communications • Applies standard principles, theories and concepts in copyediting. • Reviews simple communications to verify that company standards are met. • Writes, reviews or edits basic or routine documents for style, grammar, spelling, and punctuation. • Supports research and authenticity verification efforts. • Supports internal leads on content development. • Marketing • Collects information, prepares layout and format of simple documents. • Assists in development of simple marketing collateral that complies with standards, such as coordination and collection of information needed. • Proposals • Assists in the assembly of statements of qualifications, proposals and other pursuit-related collateral. • Event Coordinating • Provides assistance in the planning of smaller company meetings, conferences, trade show activities and events. • Prepares materials for tradeshows, such as name tags, agenda, etc. • Supports logistics, trade shows and coordination of events, such as internal meetings. • Assists with document production work. • Individual contributor with no subordinates.
Minimum Qualifications:
All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
HS diploma or equivalent preferred. Preferred Competencies: • Basic written and verbal communication skills • Basic computer skills • Basic problem solving and organization skills • Basic knowledge of marketing/ branding/ communications concepts • Basic multi tasking skills and attention to detail • Basic interpersonal and networking skills • Basic research and analysis skills • Intermediate web conferencing and global scheduling skills
