Graphic Design Internship (Part-time only)
Plimoth Plantation is seeking a motivated and focused part-time Graphic Design Intern to work with our Graphic Designer and Marketing, Development, and Museum Programs teams. The intern will design and/or update print and digital collateral materials to promote one of the Nation’s premier living history museums. This internship is ideal for students or transitioning professionals looking to hone their graphic design skills with one-of-a-kind projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Design promotional web graphics, flyers, banners, posters,signs, invitations and other advertising and marketing materials according to our style guide and brand standards.
- Participate in meetings and brainstorm sessions for upcoming Museum design projects
Qualifications
- Able to work with a variety of images, typefaces, graphic elements and layout.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop (Knowledge of iMovie, Wordpress, and other Adobe Creative Suite programs is also beneficial, but not required)
- Has a positive attitude and excellent organizational & verbal communication skills
- Able to problem-solve and work independently
- Willing to listen to and incorporate feedback on their work.
- Has obtained or is actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate graphic design degree program, or has comparable work experience.

Work Schedule:
This internship is part-time (10 hours/week max). Flexible hours over Monday-Friday 9am - 5pm schedule. Some weekend or evening work may be required.
Salary Range:
This is an unpaid internship. Academic credit is available. Students are responsible for all paperwork, arrangements and credit fees.
