Transmission Engineer I

This job allows you to apply what you have learned in college to real life work situations in substation design, transmission line design, and protective systems while working in a friendly environment. Summary:
This person will perform professional engineering work to evaluate the transmission and substation facilities technical requirements as well as maintenance practices and procedures implications. This person will also provide appropriate support to achieve the lowest cost and most reliable and environmentally sound electric transmission and substation infrastructure possible.
Top Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
• Able to develop and maintain an understanding of regulatory environmental requirements pertaining to transmission and substation systems.
• Able to obtain a working knowledge of one-line diagrams, control schematics, as-built documents, and other records and documents.
