The Idaho State Department of Agriculture is currently recruiting for a Fiscal Program Specialist.
Example of Duties
This Program Specialist will perform various financial and purchasing related duties requiring application of accounting and purchasing principles and practices. This position will process cash receipts, allocations and payables. This position will help with grant accounting and contract/project reporting and tracking within internal divisions, will maintain the agency inventory system, and will have purchasing related work that supports the agency Purchasing Manager. This position will also perform any special project necessary, opening mail, and any other assignment needed to support the fiscal team.
Minimum Qualifications
These qualifications are mandatory requirements.
- Some knowledge of management practices;
- Program or project planning and implementation.
- Experience developing and evaluating policies and procedures.
Supplemental Information
Temporary appointments from this announcement, serving at least one thousand forty (1,040) hours of continuous service, may be hired as an entrance probationary employee without further examination for the same classification and location as announced.
