Seasonal NWSS 2019 - Feed Office Crew
The National Western Stock Show is seeking a qualified candidate in our Livestock Yards Department that will work as a team member with the organization as a whole to ensure a high-performance, customer service oriented work environment that supports achieving NWSS Vision, Mission and Values. This position is during the Stock Show (January) only. Candidates must be available to work all 16 days of stock show (Jan 11- 27, 2019). The Feed Office crew works outside driving a tractor and trailer delivering feed and shavings to exhibitors throughout the Yards.
Position Requirements:
- Possess a valid Colorado Driver’s License and provide a clean and current MVR upon hire (no older than 30 days)
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift or move items over 50 pounds.
- Hours will vary, but must be able to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekend shifts up to 12 hours a day.
- Previous ranch and/or forklift experience a plus.
Physical Demands
National Western Complex is a multi-purpose indoor and outdoor commercial and agricultural complex where dusty conditions and animals may exist. While performing with the duties of this job, work is performed both outside in all weather conditions, including extreme cold, snow, wind, and rain, on varied surfaces, as well as indoors.
