Production Graphic Design Artist
Job Summary
The Graphic Design Artist creates and produces up to 8-color graphic designs for embroidery work, screen printing, Kollege Town Catalogs and Kollege Town Online store.
Essential Functions:
- Formats, develops and prepares graphic artwork in preparation for production and for application on athletic apparel/equipment.
- Prepares detailed graphics from given data such as previous drawings, layouts, detailed sketches and customer instructions.
- Creates and designs detailed graphics following customer instructions and established company standards and guidelines.
- Maintains and updates graphics database and graphic files.
- Revises graphics working from instructions, marked prints and updated customer requirements.
- Maintains a safe and healthy environment by adhering to company rules and policies.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established processes and procedures to perform the functions of the job.
Education and Training:
- High School Degree or equivalent required.
- Vocational or Technical School Certificate in graphic arts design/ computer graphics or related coursework desirable.
- Minimum of two years related experience required.
- Strong proficiency with MS Office applications.
- Strong working knowledge and experience with Adobe Photoshop or other graphic producing software.
- Knowledge of sporting goods industry desirable.
