Ability to interact and sell to guest in a positive and upbeat manner. Primary responsibility is that of Cashier with cash handling experience a must. Ability to multi task & work in fast paced environment. Must be able to work independently and alone for up to 6 hrs/shift with opening &/or closing shifts. Flexibility of scheduling with all shifts including weekends and holidays. Cleaning and restocking of shop on daily basis.

  • Provide prompt and professional service to customers:
  • Greet and welcome customers upon arrival, obtain or receive merchandise, total bill, accept cash and credit payments, and make change for customers. Post room charges accurately and promptly. Remove and record amount of cash in register at end of shift.
  • Follow and enforce all cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Wrap or bag merchandise for customers and invite customers to return upon departure.
  • Stock shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise. Maintain shelves, counters, or tables in a neat and clean manner.
  • Sets up advertising displays or arrange merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales.
  • Mark merchandise with price.
  • Answer customer’s questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise.
  • Up-sell purchases when possible.
  • Sign in and out gift shop keys.
  • Verify goods to invoices when merchandise is delivered.
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled in a Retail, Merchandising, or otherwise related major
  •  Minimum of 1 year hospitality experience preferred.
  • Strong guest service background. Ability to provide a high level of service for our guests and members.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including weekend, evenings, and holidays.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Capable of multi-tasking.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
