Seasonal Internships with the Orlando Magic
Those who are selected to be Orlando Magic interns will acquire practical knowledge through hands-on experience and gain invaluable skills necessary to compete for careers in the sports industry when the program is completed. We offer internships in following departments:
Broadcast Post Production, Broadcast Production, Client Services, Communications, Social Responsibility/Community Relations, Corporate Partnerships, Digital Content Production, Digital Design, Direct Marketing & CRM, Email Web Development, Live Entertainment, Fan Development, Fan Experience & Operations, Graphic Production, Innovation, Legal Services, Marketing Strategy, Social Responsibility/Orlando Magic Youth Foundation, Strategy & Analytics, Radio, Special Events, and Ticket Operations.
Length of Program: 12-month internship that runs July through June

Eligibility Requirements:
· College senior and graduate level students
· Recent college graduates (up to 18 months following graduation date)
Compensation and Benefits:
· $8.46 per hour plus overtime
· Use of RDV Sportsplex, state of the art athletic club access
· Game tickets during Magic season (as available)
· 40% discount on Orlando Magic merchandise
Relocation Information:
· Relocation and housing expenses are the responsibility of the intern
· Reliable transportation is also needed
Working Hours:
· Office Hours - M-F, 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
· Each internship manager dictates hours
· Most Interns work all game nights (41 home games + playoffs and finals) including weekends and holidays
Intern Training Camp:
Training Camp is a monthly get together for the interns. Each month, the interns get the opportunity to sit down face-to-face with a member of the Orlando Magic Leadership Team and hear their career story, career advice in addition to an interactive question and answer session. We also provide a workshop on resume writing and interviewing skills. Training Camp is a great opportunity for interns to bond with their fellow interns, learn more about the sports industry and network with the Orlando Magic Leadership.
