We are recruiting for a Licensed Recreational Therapist for the LEGACY unit!
Principle Duties
The Recreational Therapist is typically responsible to:
- perform recreational therapy assessments.
- implement recreational therapy programs for individual patients.
- prepare and recommend therapeutic recreation activities.
The Ideal Candidate
Our applicant of choice is:
- must be licensed as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (TRS) or Master Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (MTRS) with the UTAH Division of Occupational Professional Licensing (DOPL) in the State of Utah.
- experienced working with mentally ill individuals in an inpatient setting.
- independent, reliable and intrinsically motivated to teach and assist others.
- experienced in the planning and execution of leisure/recreational activities for adults.
