Summer Intern - Public Relations

The Public Relations and Government Affairs (PRGA) Intern supports the Public Relations & Government Affairs function at Swire Coca-Cola, USA. As a member of the PRGA team, the Intern will provide support of external communications, projects, events and key initiatives across the Southwest. This 3-month long position is based in Denver, Colorado. Nights and weekends may be required. Periodic travel is required.
 
Responsibilities:
Provide support for company communications, initiatives and events.
Manage projects as assigned.
Track metrics and contacts with each project and report results. 
 
Key Skills:
  • Organization skills: Self-motivated organization to manage multiple complex projects is essential.
  • Writing skills: Must have excellent writing, editing and proofreading capabilities.
  • Interpersonal skills: Conveys good interpersonal and relationship-building skills exhibiting an ability to with employees across multiple geographies and at all levels of the company. Must also need to possess the confidence to deal with company leaders and explain projects to them. Must convey a high degree of professionalism and represent the brand with integrity.
  • Creative skills:  Demonstrates creative ability to devise communication strategies and interesting formats for message delivery.
  • Digital skills: Familiarity with information technology, especially digital and video means of communication, is essential.

This positions reports to Director of Public Relations & Government Affairs.
