Data and Accounting Analyst

Data and Accounting Analyst

YOUR ROLE with NWHS:
As our Data and Accounting Analyst, you will provide operational support for the financial activity and reporting of Federal, State, local Government, and private grant awards and contracts. You will work alongside the CEO, CFO, Program Directors, and Program Management to maintain contractual and regulatory compliance, and help maximize the utilization of health center data.
 
Using a methodical approach, you will employ the strategic use of data to draw conclusions, provide reporting, and make recommendations to answer business objectives, and drive positive change to support NWHS’ triple aim of improved health outcomes, improved quality of care, and reduced cost.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Our ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in finance, or other four-year degree and 30 hours of accounting course work, or a minimum of 5 years of successful work experience in accounting/finance in lieu of accounting coursework. An advanced business degree is desired. An acceptable combination of education, training, and demonstrated competence in specific duties may be substituted for degree. Health systems experience is a plus.

Successful candidates will demonstrate an ability to understand, maintain, and report on financial data; apply grant, regulatory, and financial requirements; and utilize data analytics tools like Power BI to produce deliverables with accuracy and efficiency. Knowledge of data analysis methodology, regulatory and/or contractual compliance, and the use of financial accounting systems like Financial Edge is required.
