Work for a really cool research team with government job perks.

Imagine joining our research team where the norm is lively, thought-provoking collaboration. We each have an insatiable curiosity to explore new questions and untapped data. At the same time, our team embraces a culture of cooperation, excellence, and camaraderie. Our members come from a wide variety of academic disciplines such as neuroscience, psychology, economics, and public health.

We are seeking Research Analysts who enjoy opportunities to learn new subject matter, conceptualizing challenging problems, and diving into and analyzing data. We are also looking for someone who values crafting a story to effectively explain results.

Our division is called the Division of Outcomes Measurement (DOM), and we are located within the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). We use data to critically evaluate actions intended to combat fraud, waste, and abuse. Our goal is to inform policy and make recommendations for program improvement, kind of like a think tank within the government.

Our office is located in Windsor Mill, MD. We’re within easy driving distance of places like Columbia (ranked 8th best place to live in the US by CNN Money), Sykesville (ranked coolest small town in the US by Budget Travel), or the artsy, quirky, and unique city of Baltimore.
