Marketing Technology Administrator

Summary of Role

As the Marketing Technology Administrator, you will be responsible for the overall administration, support and integration of the Marketing CRM tool; as well as the coordination/connectivity of other Marketing technology platforms. The successful candidate has a good understanding of how Salesforce can be leveraged across teams and work-groups, specifically different components of a world-class marketing operation. The successful candidate will also have experience using other collaboration and workflow tools like: Google Suite, Asana and Slack. All system and tool expertise should funnel into being the champion for information and workflow improvements that facilitate successful marketing campaigns and efforts. This person will be the go-to resource for all system users in the marketing department and as such, needs to have good communication and inter-personal skills. This is a dynamic and versatile role offering opportunities to develop existing project management, data governance and system adoption skills.
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  •  Serves as the system administrator for Salesforce and other department-specific tools: managing users, inputs, objects and feeds
  • Responsible for data governance within all marketing systems and tools
  • Manages data flows between tools, integrating information where pertinent
  • Owns system/information reporting; engaging data to deliver meaningful and actionable reports
  • Proactively researches, suggests and implements new resources and functionality with both owned and marketplace tools
  • Leads user training and acts on user feedback, providing timely response and resolution
  • Completes full life-cycle implementations and rollouts as necessary, serving as project manager at times

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborates within department and cooperative to scope, create and disperse reports/information as needed
  • Creates and maintains training/workflow documentation
  • Solicits feedback from daily users and downstream parties to scope and suggest improvements or changes
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, business administration or technical services
  • 1-3 years of experience using/managing Salesforce Lightning: Service or Marketing Cloud
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing and/or project management
  • Experience using/managing web or cloud based tools (Asana, G Suite, Social Apps, e.g.)
  • Salesforce Administrator/Business Analyst (preferred)
  • General understanding of project management lifecycle, ability to lead Projects
  • Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication, collaboration and listening skills
