
Community Support Specialist- Foster Care
Provides case management services to children and youth who are experiencing behavioral and mental health issues, and their families. Attends meetings, provides counseling, maintains records, conducts weekly home visits. Aim of the program is to help clients successfully reach goals and achieve permanency. Must be willing to utilize the principles of Re-Education and Circle of Courage, trauma focused care and focus on overall health. 24/7 on-call availability, travel required.
Pay rate based on education and experience.
Requirements:
Degree in Social Service and 2+ year experience. Excellent writing and communication skills required. Flexibility in work schedule a must. Must have a Tennessee driver’s license and reliable transportation.
A minimum of 1 year of experience relative to the job is required. Minimum education level of Bachelor's Degree. Required skills include: Case Management, Children, Family, In Home.
