Environmental Education Leadership Corps- Environmental Programmer
This is an Americorps position through the KEEC EEL Corps.
The living allowance is $13,992/year for full time with a $6095 Education stipend awarded at completion.

Implement and supervise environmental education and outdoor recreation programming with local schools/daycares/community centers with youth of all ages and backgrounds. Prepare daily materials, equipment, and topics. Display enthusiasm, integrity, and strong leadership to serve as an example for youth participants.
Teach science & recreation topics in an engaging, fun, and safe manner.
Properly use and maintain all equipment and materials.
Effectively communicates safety concerns, and maintains effective control of group through acceptable group management techniques in dynamic outdoor environments.
Effectively manages risk in outdoor activities. Examples include but not limited to: interpretive hikes and habitat studies, fishing, climbing, team-building, archery, canoeing, outdoor free-play, survival skills, etc.
Researches information related to educational program topics, investigates new activities, teaching methods and techniques.
Assists staff and co-workers with general maintenance projects.
Designs and Implements new EE program.
Maintains professional, presentable appearance.
