Student Intern-Hydrologic & Hydraulic Design-Greeley, CO
The purpose of this part-time collegiate internship is to provide meaningful professional public administration experience to collegiate students with proven academic performance and a strong desire to learn and contribute.
DUTIES include the following but not limited to:
1) Hydrologic & Hydraulic Design:
- Provide technical assistance to the Region 4 Hydraulics Unit in preparing hydrologic and hydraulic analyses;
- Designs and reports for in-house projects;
- Using MicroStation/InRoads, ArcGIS, SMS, WMS, HEC-RAS, FHWA Toolbox and various spreadsheets for design and analysis
2) River and Drainage Field Work:
- Provide field support for the Region 4 Hydraulics Unit with site reconnaissance, drainage complaint resolution, Maintenance support, and meeting attendance
3) Office Support:
- Support office and field staff by assisting with reporting, copying, scanning and use of CDOT equipment and resources for archiving, printing and distribution purpose
