Brief Description of Team
The Global Security leadership team provides support and resources to all of our shipboard security operations, ensuring the safety and security of our guests, crew members, ships and brand. Additionally, we play a central role in maintaining our regulatory compliance. We are increasingly accomplishing these goals via data driven analysis, ensuring we provide our teams with the most efficient and effective guidance possible.

Brief Description of Intern Project
This internship will focus on collecting and analyzing operational data from our shipboard operations to empower Global Security leadership to develop better policies. This role will also facilitate and improve communication processes between our shore side leadership and ship board teams while enhancing our digital platforms including our website, communications platforms & data collection and organization.

What we are looking for when recruiting Interns?
  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year Bachelor or Graduate International Relations, Security, Computer Science or Business related degree program
  • GPA of 3.2 or higher preferred, and proven leadership skills either in school or professional experience
  • Must have authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis
  • Must be able to be employed from May 26th to August 7th on a full-time basis
  • Self-driven and motivated
  • Exceptional communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Emulates pride, passion and commitment for their job and conveys excitement and enthusiasm for RCL.
  • Excited to collaborate and eager to learn from others
  • Proven leadership ability, either in a student organization, project, and/or outside the classroom
  • Demonstrates a passion for service and commitment to continuous improvement
