Job Overview
The purpose of this position is to interact with our guests and ensure they have a great experience when dining and meeting at The Club. Banquet Servers are responsible for positive interactions while serving members and guests in a friendly and efficient manner. At all times, banquet servers are expected to be attentive to their needs and making them feel welcome, comfortable, important, and relaxed.
Banquet Servers will follow through with proper and timely set-up and execution of banquet events. Set up includes tables, chairs, buffets, and audio visual equipment. Maintain a high degree of professionalism. Maintain all equipment and facilities in an organized, clean, safe environment.  
General Responsibilities
·      Review Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s) at the beginning of each shift to ensure the room is set as contracted. Confirm and setup A/V equipment needs to contract for the event
·      Prepare rooms for the event
·      Be in communication with the Events Director & Banquet Captain/ Dining Room Managers
·      Assist in ensuring the events are on time
·      Ensure proper use, storage and maintenance of all A/V and meeting room equipment
·      Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas of The Club
·      Communicate any areas of need, problems, and concerns from guest to Management
·      Have rooms in a readiness position for any possible site inspections if no upcoming events are scheduled
·      Ensure meeting rooms are re-set for the next event if it is within one day of the previous event
·      Provide all guests with a lasting experience of The Club with the intent for return business
·      Maintaining proper dining experiences, fulfilling customer needs, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses
·      Delivering Alcoholic and Non alcoholic drinks for service to your customer’s table
·      Properly open and pour wine at the tableside
·      Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor
·      Greet all guests warmly with an appropriate greeting
·      Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently
·      Understand and can communicate products and services available at The Club
·      Prepare Buffets and Bars when necessary
Job Qualifications
Education:
·        High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience:
·        Previous serving experience. Banquet service preferred
·        Excellent oral communication skills required
·        Positive interpersonal skills required
·        Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English
Physical Requirements
·        Identify and distinguish colors
·        Walking and/or standing for the length of shift
·        Frequently lifts/carries 50 pounds
·        Continual use of fine manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills
·        Able to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel and stoop repeatedly
Working Conditions
·        May be indoor or outdoor setting depending on service area
·        Varied weather conditions are expected
·        Will work near mechanical equipment and hot surfaces
·        Will work with aerosol and other cleaning chemicals
·        Varied schedule to include evenings, holidays and extended hours as business dictates
