Intern, Broadcast Administration


Intern, Broadcast Administration
Term: January – December 2020
Wage: $12 per hour
Minimum of 25 hours per week (up to 30 hours a week)
Part-time/ Seasonal
Location: Chase Field/ Phoenix, AZ 
 
Internship Eligibility Requirements:
Must be a junior, senior or postgraduate student with preferred majors of Journalism, Communication, Business or related field, pursuing or completed a degree from an accredited college or university.

Primary Duties:
  • Plan and execute annual Radio Affiliate Night and the Broadcast Dept. Dinner
  • Track accounts payable and receivable for department budget
  • Coordinate travel itineraries for broadcasters and broadcast staff
  • Compile and track all facility fees for park and power usage at Chase Field
  • Maintain tracking of all airchecks from two radio partners - Bonneville & Univision
  • Traffic both English & Spanish radio inventory for all game broadcasts using the Skyview “AdView” software (you will receive training on this software program)
  • Serve as the primary contact for Corporate Partnerships for adjusting radio spots to Network standards & pulling air-checks for D-backs radio partners by request
  • Respond to all “Fan Feedback” email regarding radio & TV broadcasts
  • Track all dbTV requests and distribute dubs
  • Coordinate and record radio liners with D-backs players
  • Manage Permission to Broadcast Letters for Spring Training and Regular Season
  • Compile and track hotel bills for broadcast staff
  • Execute and coordinate fan visits to the broadcast booth
  • Manage ticket requests for game day staff, broadcasters & D-back’s radio affiliates
  • Distribute department mail and checks
  • Request invoices for various internal and external services
  • File paperwork according to accounting department coding
  • Manage Radio Affiliate Agreement forms
  • Create Merchandise Packs for all radio affiliates

Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, etc.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Detail-oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Experience with Adobe Audition audio recording and mixing
