Swine Specialist Intern- Advanced
The primary objective of the AMVC Summer Intern Program is to provide interested students with hands-on experience and knowledge of swine production and swine health. Through a structured, project-based experience, students will be exposed to the daily tasks and management of operations within a swine production company.
To accomplish the objective, students are expected to participate in a variety of activities within AMVC. The duties require significant involvement in management, production and industry activities. All responsibilities require the ability to work effectively with co-workers in order to care for sows, piglets and boars.
The standard internship runs for 11 weeks.
