Summary of Role
Are you excited by the prospect of telling the good food story to thousands of people on a daily basis? CROPP Cooperative is seeking a Web Production Intern to support its Digital Marketing Team. This person will be responsible for coordinating content and updating the Organic Valley and Organic Prairie consumer-facing websites. The ideal candidate for the position will be passionate about telling the story of the country’s largest organic farmer-owned cooperative and creating a world-class experience for our web visitors. 
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
o Maintain and update website content through usage of an enterprise content management system (CMS). 
o Coordinate the creation of new web content in conjunction with other internal departments and agency partners. 
o Assist in the development and execution of integrated digital marketing campaigns. 
o Collaborate with web agency to implement web updates.
o Monitor and test our websites to ensure they’re displaying properly and providing a good user experience across devices.
o Monitor and report on competitor and other brand websites.
o Create audience-specific, informative and engaging written content for our email and web properties to connect consumers to their food and our farms
 
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
o Collaborate with other members of the Integrated Brand Marketing team to support digital marketing efforts across diverse practices and platforms.
o Periodic and ad-hoc reports
o Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
o Currently enrolled and one year or less graduation in Communication, Marketing or related field
o Familiarity with content management systems
o Excellent writing skills with a strong understanding of audience, tone, and nuance.
o Skilled in writing easy-to-understand and engaging content that is mission focused.
o Experience with Google Analytics, search engine optimization, and digital advertising preferred.
o Familiarity with basic graphics manipulation and photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Strong project management skills.
o Innate passion for communicating through new media channels and understanding what motivates people to engage on the web.
o Self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively with others and under limited supervision.
