Summer Camp Sports Instructors and Counselors
Overview: Lake of the Woods and Greenwoods Camps in Decatur, MI is looking for talented adults to serve in a dual role at camp, both as an athletic activity instructor / coach and counselor. Must be ambitious, hardworking, passionate and have a desire to work with children.
Positions Available: Searching for men and women who can teach/coach one of the following: BASKETBALL, BASEBALL, CROSS COUNTRY, FITNESS, FOOTBALL, GOLF, LACROSSE, SOCCER, TENNIS and VOLLEYBALl. This position will specialize in one of these activities, so it’s recommended you have extensive knowledge of the sport / activity. Coaching and or playing experience is preferred. This role is great for aspiring coaches, athletic directors and teachers.
Responsibilities: Our sports staff is responsible for coaching and mentoring kids in specific areas of activity. Our goal is to help young kids grow and develop on and off the field.
Salary: Competitive salary based on experience+ travel expense reimbursement. Housing and meals are provided.
Dates: June 14th – August 15th
Qualifications: Must have completed at least one year of college/university. Knowledge and experience playing or coaching at the College or High School level. Great experience for an aspiring coach; must love working, leading and mentoring children ages 8-15.
Internships: We will work with your college/university to earn paid internship credits

Located in southwest Michigan, our 2, 4 or 8 week premier camp options attract campers and staff from all over the world.
