IT Support Analyst

Summary of Role


The IT Support Analyst will provide administrative, Help Desk and application support, inventory, budget, purchasing, training and travel support for the Information Resources (IR) Department.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Basic help desk and desktop support to end users as part of Help Desk team
  • Support end users in ERP system
  • Participate in established schedule to provide on-site help desk coverage at the two primary CROPP locations--La Farge and Cashton.
  • Purchase and track software and hardware using established processes
  • Validate receipt, coding and tracking of all invoices connected to the IR budget
  • Administer IR credit card activities including tracking receipts and submission of the monthly report based on established policies
  • Track and categorize IR purchases and provide budget information for annual IR budget
  • Track and analyze purchase and printer information
  • Follow established process to ensure appropriate quantities of peripherals are available to CROPP staff
  • Provide budget support as directed by CIO for monthly review meetings          
  • Handle confidential information with discretion


Additional Duties and Responsibilities


  • Negotiate cost with vendors on technology purchases
  • Provide backup support to Software and Asset Contract Specialist
  • Identify and research potential new vendors following the Cooperative process
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


  • Associates degree in Accounting, Business or Information Systems or equivalent work experience required
  • Prior experience supporting end users in an ERP system (SAP preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to relate a business process to application functionality and view the holistic solution
  • Desire to learn application functionality
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of general purchasing and accounting practices preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft operating systems and Office products required
