Student Nutrition Manager

This position will oversee all aspects of the district student nutrition program. The job functions include administrating, planning, directing, assessing, implementation, and evaluating the program in order to meet the nutritional and educational needs ofchildren as it relates to the student nutrition program. The employee carries out policies and establishes procedures for the efficient and economical operation of school food service programs along with following federal, state, and local guidelines related to the USDA meal programs. The employee reports directly to and works under the general supervision of a school district director with leeway allowed for the exercise of independent judgment. General supervision is exercised over staff such as Kitchen Managers, other school food service workers, and clerical employees.
