Our Registered Nurses provide professional nursing care to assigned individuals and professional nursing supervision to LPNs and unlicensed assistive personnel. The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing actions and assures coordination of care to assigned caseload. The RN acts as team leader when assigned with responsibility for daily operational routines and provides clinical care and consultation as necessary, including but not limited to: medication/treatment administration, care planning/implementation, collaboration with multidisciplinary team of physicians and other professionals/support staff to ensure the provision of care.
RN licensure in North Carolina, Compact State Licensure, or pending licensure after graduation from a nursing program is required.
We are accepting "graduate" temporary permits! Since testing centers for NCLEX are temporarily closed, NCBON has reinstituted the "Graduate Nurse" status for NC graduates. See Minimum Education and Experience Requirements section below for more details.
