Initium Health is seeking an information systems intern to work on the intersection of healthcare and new technology to work on various projects involving bringing innovative solutions to help streamline hospital operations, create databases to track medical device analytics in clinical trials, research best practices in cybersecurity, develop digital marketing strategy using Python/Django to improve patient outcomes, reduce costs, and increase value-based care.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Junior or graduating senior in Information Systems/Computer Science or Healthcare Analytics related degree
- Projects or portfolio demonstrating capabilities in front-end development
- Reliable and self-starter, prefers challenges, fast pace, new ideas, future focus, and unstructured environment
- Coding experience with javascript frameworks (e.g. ReactJS, Angular) and CSS
- Coding experience with Python frameworks (e.g. Django)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports corporate policies, goals and objectives
- Promotes a positive working relationship between corporate and agency personnel
- Facilitates appropriate upward and downward communication
- Actively engages in research to support mission of agency
- Able to be in office a set number of hours a week
