Marketing Web Developer
You are a Marketing Web Developer with a passion for creating interfaces, gathering requirements to create, update and maintain all company websites while ensuring they are accurate, easy to navigate, functioning flawlessly, and creating a rich online experience for users.
A Day in the Life of a Marketing Web Developer:
- Utilize expertise of web development programming languages and content management platforms to translate business needs into user-friendly functions that will expand the effectiveness of our websites.
- Proactively identify and execute any changes required to design, function, usability and efficiency of websites to maintain optimal performance.
- Utilize strong technical design skills to collaborate with web design to determine look and feel of website. Demonstrated ability to utilize some basic creativity to make minor updates independently.
- Manage UAT process for all new site enhancements with cross-functional teams.
- Monitor statistics and analytics and provide regular reporting of website functionality, effectiveness and business health.
- Manage all online resources, on-line product information and databases.
- Assess and manage vendor applications/tools to ensure efficient integration within websites structure and/or routine management of vendor tools.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3-5 years web development/programming experience with extensive knowledge of HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, XML, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS and Bootstrap.
- Experience working with and maintaining/updating CMS (Word Press, Drupal, Joomla or other enterprise level CMS).
- Experience creating web pages from wire frames and layouts.
- Strong knowledge of User Interface design (UI), User Experience (UX), cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.
- Excellent time/project management skills; strong attention to detail; ability to perform duties with minimal supervision and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills; thrives in a team environment.
- Character qualities of Cooperation, Diligence, Endurance, Flexibility and Responsibility.
The most qualified candidates will have:
- Experience working with the .NET framework, C#, ASP.NET, MVC.
- 3-5 years’ experience working with PHP
- Experience with Source control (SourceSafe, TFS, Subversion, Git, SVN, etc.).
- Experience analyzing and debugging code.
- Skills to assist with email marketing, social media and other electronic or web-based communications.
- Basic knowledge of SEO best-practices.
