Systems Engineer Intern - Summer 2021
As a systems engineer intern on our team, you won’t be stuffing envelopes or getting someone coffee. Working closely with vendors and internal IT partners, you’ll troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues while ensuring the health and availability of our systems. Additionally, you’ll help in resolving outages in our voice and data network, service, client PC and mainframe environments.
This internship will provide you the chance to further develop your technical and communication skills by handling a wide range of responsibilities in a 24/7 environment. You’ll participate in the planning and execution of Enterprise-wide projects while working closely with an experienced mentor.
When: Summer 2021 (May - August)
As circumstances dictate, such as the situation with COVID-19, you may be required to work from home for all or part of the duration of your internship.
Must-have qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in an Information Technology or Business related field
Preferred skills
- Effective teamwork, written and verbal communication skills, analytical and customer service skills
- Ability to relay technical information to non-technical people
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities
