Grants Project Manager
The City of Dubuque, Iowa invites applications for the position of Grants Project Manager. The successful candidate will equitably deliver programming as it contributes to the overall community health and safety for housing and community development which includes the family and the structure and the intersection between. The successful candidate will possess training and/or experience in one or more of the following areas: housing construction, housing code enforcement and housing-related health standards, program management and record-keeping. Experience making presentations to large groups or the general public while serving in a professional role. Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in a development, planning, or design-related major; or in construction management, public administration or related field; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the essential knowledge, skills and abilities is required. A Master’s degree in planning, development, management, public administration or a related field is preferred. The successful candidate will possess a demonstrated ability to follow a management style that is input oriented and values equity, problem solving and the development of partnerships and a desire to be part of an organization that values service, people, integrity, responsibility, innovation and teamwork. The City offers an annual salary range of $59,508 to $77,896, and an attractive benefit package, which includes twelve weeks of paid parental leave.
