Duties: Perform geotechnical engineering analyses using UTexas4, SLOPE/W, SEEP/W, Flac, QUAD4, DEEPSOIL and SHAKE. Perform field in site testing, including seismic and static stability. Analyze site response and liquefaction potential based on the lab results, CPT testing, blow counts, and seismic data to determine the liquefaction potential of materials of a dam. Perform material characterization and determine material strengths. Analyze seepage and stability of tailings dams using SEEP/W and UTexas software. Perform 2D deformation analyses using FLAC 2D, SV Slope, UBCSand, and advanced constitutive models. Perform 3D consolidation analysis. Perform assessment of water and tailings dams, including seismic site response analysis, seismic deformation analysis, and static and seismic slope stability seepage analysis.
Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Civil Engineering and 1 year of experience in the job offered or 1 year of experience using UTexas4, SEEP/W, FLAC, and SHAKE.
