Job Summary
Lumen’s internship program is a 10 week, fast-paced and exciting opportunity to gain professional experience within your field of study and career interest. Interns within the Strategic Enterprise Department will be part of an accelerated learning experience, to challenge skills learned in the classroom and develop new skills while working on active Lumen work projects. Interns will have the potential to experience joining our team, which runs segment marketing strategy for Key Accounts, Large Enterprise, Regional Enterprise and Mid-size business. We support the go-to-market strategy from the value streams, product and solutions marketing teams. We support our sales teams with programs and sales enablement to help them drive their monthly sales. We support sales via our field marketing teams, driving regional activity to help sales engage with their accounts and KDMs.  The internship will take place in our Town & Country, MO office or in a Remote/Work From Home Environment.  In addition, interns will connect to our company culture through community outreach projects, engage with our employee resource groups and be able to develop their professional skills and business acumen through frequent exposure to senior leadership, cutting-edge technology, groundbreaking projects, and a network of mentors and fellow interns. Job Description
Intern would support the Large Enterprise and Key Accounts delivery team. In this role they would support program development against our LE/KA 2021 goals, messaging and sales enablement creation from the go-to-market team including product launches and campaign launches, metric reporting against our team goals, communications to our field marketing teams for distribution to sales, and support of program execution to sales. Day to day responsibilities would include: program metric reporting, weekly newsletter contribution to the marketing brief, LE/KA strategy slide updates for all marketing alignment call, bi-weekly participation on delivery team stand ups, managing Sharepoint content related to LE/KA campaigns and launches. 
Intern will be exposed to all of the Marketing elements to get a full picture of all aspects of a full marketing team and get to participate in many different ongoing and future campaigns. 
Qualifications
  • Minimum Cumulative GPA: 3.0 or higher (preferred)
  • Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, in a rising junior, rising senior, or masters level status at time of internship.
  • Graduating between August 2021 – May 2023
  • Education/Degree: In pursuit of a bachelor’s level degree in business, marketing or finance in at least a junior level status at the start of the internship. 
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to demonstrate ownership and accountability
  • Ability to collaborate and have agility while making effective decisions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong experience with data, leveraging excel. 
  • Ability to manage multiple different tasks at one time and prioritize. 
  • Ability to work autonomously and be a self-starter. 
  • Interest in technology. 
  • Flexible and adapts well to change
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Willing to accept coaching.
  • Skills in data analysis, writing copy, graphics design, and agile development a plus. 
  • Intern is responsible for their travel to/from work location
  • Must be available to work 30 – 40 hours, during the specified 10-week timeframe
