The Oregon State Hospital, a division of the Oregon Health Authority, has a fantastic opportunity for an OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST to join an excellent team working to help people recover from their illness and return to their lives in the community.

What you will do!
You'll provide therapy services that include assessment, treatment, program planning, evaluation and implementation, related documentation, consultation and discharge recommendations. You'll assist the patients to achieve their highest level of functioning in daily living skills and performance patterns. This increases their success for discharge from the hospital and continued success in community living.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
  • Applicants who have completed an Occupational Therapy education program which is recognized by the Oregon Occupational Therapy Licensing Board
  • Applicants who have a current Oregon Occupational Therapy or an Occupational Therapy Limited Permit license prior to starting work
  • Preference may be given to candidates who are certified by the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy
  • Preference may be given to candidates who have Mental Health experience
  • Experience in creating and maintaining a work environment that is respectful and accepting of diversity among team members and the people we serve
