Graduate Coordinator of Professional Development
TILT’s Professional Development team is seeking a graduate student to serve as our Graduate Coordinator of Professional Development. This position averages 10-20 hours a week and is flexible.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Advise new registrants for Graduate Teaching Certificate (GTC) program
- Program professional development opportunities for GTAs
- Serve as main point of contact for GTAs in GTC program
- Review GTC portfolios
- Assist with GTA Orientation
- Work with faculty Master Teaching Initiative Coordinators across campus
Required Skills
- Knowledge and passion about teaching/pedagogy
- Experience editing web pages
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in a professional manner
