Graduate Coordinator of Professional Development

TILT’s Professional Development team is seeking a graduate student to serve as our Graduate Coordinator of Professional Development. This position averages 10-20 hours a week and is flexible.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
  • Advise new registrants for Graduate Teaching Certificate (GTC) program
  • Program professional development opportunities for GTAs
  • Serve as main point of contact for GTAs in GTC program
  • Review GTC portfolios
  • Assist with GTA Orientation
  • Work with faculty Master Teaching Initiative Coordinators across campus

Required Skills
  • Knowledge and passion about teaching/pedagogy
  • Experience editing web pages
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in a professional manner
